Sarah was originally Usagi_Chocomog I think (hence why I call her Usagi sometimes). She's been really busy lately though...
We may have to draw a line.

Well, not many of us know Tiffany as of yet so now is probably not the right time to bring her on board. Loco on the other hand is known by many (if not all) of us already so it's a lot easier. Plus, a slave admin does sound even more tempting
But I have to say. The Sun being trademarked made me laugh. lol brings back memories.
Whatever you guys want to do is fine with me. We're damned if we do, damned if we don't, anyway. If we add more members, it may create a domino effect and put off some people. If we don't, the forum will slowly stagnate and die. May as well stay the course and walk right off the cliff like usual.
Honestly, I love you guys, but replying to the same people all the time on a forum is like turn-based AIM. I'd rather revive the chatroom or something than this, or have a forum like Whatever that was open to select members who knew the link and could easily access it without an administrator's consent (nothing against Loco, but it would be bothersome to ask for his permission every time to get someone else added. That's the nature of this forum.).
If there is no way of getting to know a person and if that is a requirement for access here... and if that person is not allowed to post in here in order for us to get to know him/her, that creates quite a dilemma.

Yeah, it really does. I haven't thought about it that way. Dominoes can be either good and bad.
I don't want EBG to die again. ;-;
And just so we're clear, I'm not stating all of this like some sort of ultimatum. Not at all. I am trying to predict the foreseeable future for this forum. Isolation is only fun for a while, you know? Talk to old friends, relive old memories like The Sun™ and the flash movies, talk about random topics, and then the novelty wears off. We've tried all this before, and I simply don't want it to go that route because you are all cool people. I don't want this to die, either.
The only bad thing about AIM as opposed to a forum is that some of us may be in different timezones and have different posting schedules, which TFF easily faciliates for us by adding the posts in. If it weren't for that obstacle, I'd much rather go that route anyway.
EDIT: And the fact that not all of us have AIM installed / are opposed to AIM / etc

By all means, don't even begin to worry about "pestering" me. I'm here /almost/ every day, even when I don't post or pretend to ignore people. There are dozens of PMs in my inbox that go unanswered on a regular basis, but I read them all. If one of you sends a message my way, know that it gets read, plain and simple.
Also, because none of you are retarded, it'll probably get an answer, too.
It's funny how much I enjoy forums considering how much I dislike the majority of people who frequent them. I'm not sure what that's all about.
As for AIM, MSN, IRC, and Yahoo... I rarely ever touch them. I play too many videogames to let those get in the way. Xfire, on the other hand, is always on when my computer's online. It's one of the only ways to get in touch with me any more, aside from phonecalls or text messages. And email, I suppose.
I suppose I could pick a messenger and get on it more often. I'm "supposed" to be on MSN right now because I told a friend I'd get on, but I really just don't want to. It's funny how my distaste for most messengers rivals yours of forums.
The only reason I use xfire is because it allows me to send/receive messages while playing full-screen games, thus cancelling the need to tab out. Perfect for FFXI, where you can't even tab out to begin with. Convenient for the others, too.

I think its easier to keep it here.. especially for the people who still post at TFF proper. I am not one of them and have no plans posting outside EBG. But others can easily see new posts here as they're keeping up with whatever they're keeping up with at TFF. I don't see us adding new members on a basis where it becomes annoying for LocoColt to assist.
Also, like you mentioned previously, the forum makes it easier to communicate with peoples busy schedules and different time zones. A chatroom i'd have to keep looking at. I can refresh this when i get a free moment easily enough. I do miss the chats however.
We don't need to get too serious and build processes or set a limit or all that. Let's all just chill out and keep our circle of friends. I like you guys and I like this forum containing my old online pals. I definitely don't want to start adding a lot of people here. I'm perfecntly content with who we have right here. I'd like to see Nix and Danger come back, but that's just me being unrealistically hopeful. If people lose interest and this forum degrades to only Sundance and I posting and talking about how much fatter we've become in the last 4 years then I'll still be having fun.
That being said, I'm not opposed to making new friends. I had no idea who some of the current EBG members were, like Fuji and Ballz previous to my "return".
It sounds like Kaz knows Tiffany or at least talks to Tiffany and that may be enough to let her in. If Kaz thinks she can fit and would have fun in here, then that's all I need to hear.
now back to touching up episode 2 i go.
Fuji is Piroblaze, and -- if I recall correctly -- he was part of the second incarnation of EBG. It was brought back in early 2005 as a near-instantaneous response to the resurrection of SOLDIER by Psychosyd.
As far as Tiffany goes, trust me when I say she's good people. She's one of my favorite internet peoples, and I'm damn picky. A complex soul, to be certain, but a very intelligent and good-natured being.
...I mean... evil. Yes, that's what I meant.
Certainly sarcastic when the conversation calls for it, anyway.

Yes. I be Piroblaze and I was in the second EBG, and still am in EBG.
On another note, who loves the delicious savory taste of chicken pot pie?
Me!
I love Pot Pie. ^^
I last had some pot pie like last week or something.

Yeah. She just needs access and stuff. I'll let Cesar know, or something.
I hate pie so much. It gives me stomach aches just thinking about it.![]()

I prefer cake myself. Particularly ice cream cake. Yay! Although blueberry pie is generally nice, as is raspberry pie...
Don't pies come in an icecream variety too, though? Hm...

Pie is delicious. Apple, cherry, coconut cream...Mmm. But cheesecake is king.
I want chicken pot pie. I haven't had it in so long.![]()

Coconut Creme Pie is the greatest. xD Pumpkin Pie is pretty good too, Apple Pie.. sometimes... but yeah.. xD
As for the whole Tiffany issue >.> I think everyone knows where I stand.. but that's just in general, not that I don't want her in.. yeah...![]()
Heero i totally agreed with you on all points. At the same time I don't mind letting a couple people in now and then if we're sure they'll fit in.
The way we did it before we had a chatroom to get to know people before the joined..
Yeah, that needs to be revived in one way or another.Originally Posted by Korova

If that is indeed the reason, then forget I ever said or requested anything on the matter. To say that I am surprised about the way this idea was received is perhaps the understatement of the year. I honestly didn't expect this mixed bag of reactions. I figured everyone would be cool and open-minded with it, so long as we weren't opening the floodgates to just anyone. But if adding more people turns many of you off to posting in here, as it seems to have done these past few days (though it still may be coincidence and that you are all busy), then you have made your point. Let's drop the whole thing.

I think it's coincidence, personally. The other week some people didn't post for a few days, either, and then later another few people didn't post. Maybe these groups of people are just not posting at the same time. Or maybe we need more topics of discussion. Or maybe everyone caught my cold, and they're feeling so shitty they don't feel like posting. Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
Yeah, I think we need more topics of discussion. The current topics are okay, but have been talked about a lot already, too. Of course, I would think of a new one, but... I haven't seen anything worthy to talk about.
I blame myself. I decided to go have a social life.![]()

Same hee-yah.
If I decide to stop posting because of some political or bureaucratic reason, I assure you, I will make a topic about it. Or at least flame some people, just to make sure my bridges are burned to a crisp.
Edit: Also! For future reference:
Non-chocolate cakes < Non-Pecan Pie < Chocolate cakes < Pecan Pie < Shamrock Shakes
