Simple, the better search engine will return more hits than the other.

i mainly use google but also use dogpile and altavista sometimes too
Google is nicer than Yahoo. Those are the only two I ever really think of using. Occasionally Encarta is necessary, but Google does fine for anything other than easy history information. Google is my main search engine.
I like Blackle. It's like Google, but most of the screen is black, so it uses less energy on your monitor.

I use Google. Mostly because I have the little search bar in the corner, and because it is easy to use. Blackle sounds good, though! =P

I voted Google, but it's really a tie for me between Google and Yahoo!. I'm a loyal Yahoo! user, and also have my e-mail address there. Because I have my e-mail with Yahoo!, I get to use Yahoo! Answers, which can be good at times.
Even though Yahoo! has more functions and a better image search (in my opinion), along with a video search, Google is still pretty good, and has some great searches. I like Yahoo!, but I can't really decide 100%.
Google is the best.

Im always using yahoo. Mostly because its my homepage and its my email service. Although whenever I use google it always pops up stuff that is useless to what im searching for. I usually find what i'm searching for through yahoo. I think Google is way overrated.

As Dodie said,I have only used Google.Fast and efficent,though sometimes a bunch of shit pops up that doesn't deal anything with what I search.Oh and by the way Dodie,I like the Google search engine,too.Lots of variety.

I've only ever used Google, so my answer is a little bit biased. I think it's a great search engine for a variety of things, but I love Google Image search. I find all kinds of interesting art works and fun images using that feature.

Starting from the fact that 1 times on 3 when I'm searching something I don't find it in any search engine, my favourite is Google.
I tried MSN, yahoo, Virgilio and many other but they aren't as good as google.
And Google offer lots of services if you register an account!
I always use a little part of them like gmail, calendar, documents, wave and things like these!
