This song has such a driving opening riff, it almost takes a Beavis & Butthead approach: if the song didn't keep reverting to that riff, the song would suck. Don't get me wrong, the verse riff is great, but without that driving riff to fall back on, it'd be nothing.

Well, I'm listening to this song because... well.. I love death metal. What appeals to me about it is that despite this song having some of the most gruesome lyrics I've ever heard, it has a 1:30 long solo that's just unbelievably beautiful, especially for death metal... I suggest you all check it out. Even if you don't like death metal, the solo just makes it worth it.

Cynic is fucking amazing. I love how they mix death metal and jazz fusion. This particular stands out to me because of the extremely odd vocal effects used in the song, as well as how often it changes.

Devil May Cry 3 - Taste The Blood.

It's catchy and jumpy and it's good to listen to such songs when you want that extra kick of adrenaline. The game itself and the soundtrack go together perfectly and I couldn't resist wanting to hear it some more despite having finished the game.
