The Masters

Basically, 'School Master' is Mage's title for a specialized training program he's been working on. It owuld appear he's a little off track in that regard, but hopefully he'll be able to resume that operation once he re-establishes himself online.

Meanwhile, I'd hoped I wouldn't have to state this again, but members of The Masters are forbidden from posting in clubs that they are not members or recognized guests of. While we may be a group that delights in bending the rules, I've always considered out right breaking them to be in bad form. I understnad that there are some groups here that a few of our members may take personal offense to, or a personal interest in.

While I'm all for the beliefs of the individual, I have to put the group first. Do not bring disgrace on The Masters.

Lovely Slim. O_o I admit that I have had my say in the BOD thread but those were strictly battle wise reasons that I felt should of been said in the thread, not via the PM system. But I see why such a descision id neccesary.

Well, I'm finally back...I think.
Sorry I've been away for so long, but right after I got back from Ohio I got VERY sick and I just now feel well enough to come online.
I won't go into details on just how messed up I was, but please try not to make me laugh because my stomach is still sore... ~_~

Meantime, the new story RP looks good but it seems no other Masters have written up a profile yet. I know the wail of the beast was interested...anyone else?

I see no reason to start something you'll never end.
Eventually that RPG will die as happened to anything we tried.

Also, although the new RP sounds very interesting, I hope that this RP won't end up like the last...I would like to hope that we can still continiue with the other RP as well when we all have time to do so.

Don't worry, I'm sure through posting and communicating, we can come up with a suitable end for my RP. But the end is far away and we do not need to concern ourselves with those details at the present time. We just need to all work together in the story. Remember, it's not a competition.

EDIT: Out of curiousity, I made a separate thread for my RP intended for those who are not in the Masters. I wanted to see how they would take the RP and compare it to that of the Masters. Basically, it should be good for a few laughs considering their writing style cannot match up to that of the Masters. Just make sure you don't get confused and post in that one. Thanks.

I, too, must apologize for how forcefully quick I was to jump on the situation with the BoD. In any case, I am glad to know (after some PMs with Slim) that my actions were understood; the last thing I would want is to be misunderstood.

As for the non-Masters copy of that RP... I've been interested with it, but the only issue I have with it would be participating with the usual RP forum crowd... I would rather not have my posts thrown in with a slew of two-sentence posts, and thusly reduced to nothing.

In that regard, I will likely sit back and watch both threads. I'm looking forward to reading it, as the idea is certainly a fresh one. It's about time we get something new around here, rather than just the same old rehashed RPs with the same members participating over... and over... and over again.

To be honest, I would be more than happy to accept you into the Masters Only version of my RP. Of course, that would have to be verified by Anomaly. Given your experience, we know you are good enough to be involved. But, like I said, it's up to Anomaly.

Hmm...I dunno...the more the merrier I guess, but it kind of defeats the purpose of a 'Masters Only' RP, doesn't it? Even the none Masters format of the second thread seems to cause the idea to lose its meaning. Not to say I wouldn't welcome Lococolt to participate if he wishes, but as things stand it would appear the majority of Masters are too busy for a Masters only RP. I may disagree with Serra's attitude but its difficult to have story RP with just three guys.

Not impossible, just difficult. Hmm...lets give it a week and see if we have anymore sign ups in either thread. If one does better than the other, I'd be tempted to say that the Masters should simpley HOST an RP, rather than have their own exclusive one. We already have an exclusive one, but an RP story that might draw in new members and raise RP activity, and possibley quality, isn't out of the question.

Hmm...well your battle has been impressive thus far...and its winding to a close. It may be finished before this next RP even actually begins. Hmm... if the other members of the Godhand have no objection, I have no objection, but we'll see what happens.

EDIT:

Oh yes, and if you haven't noticed our new recruit, Griffith, has made us some rather fine new banners. They are simpley words that I felt best describe the Masters...Power, Loyalty, Sacrifice, Conquest, Domination, Vengeance. These will be made available upon request for any Masters member to utilize.

I'm thinking of adopting the feathered draconic wing as our new emblem. It seems to suitabley invoke our noble past.

Well it hard to say now. Today seems to be quiet, the opposite to yesterday, when we were rocketed all the day. Fortunatelly my city staied unhurt, so I have to consider myself as lucky.

Yet the situation is extremelly dangerous. You can compare it to rocks tower. A little stone rolls down, pulling more stones after it. If it wont stopped, the tower will fall. If it wont stop we'll have a war. And it sucks.

Yesterday the Hesballa proved us that we are REACHABLE for them. As I said before I fear it wont be the last time. None knows how it'll end. And the world calls Israel to stop from counter attacking. It soo easy to say from your safe chair when you only watch the situation from your comfortable house.

Last night I spent the night in clothes, in case we'll have to run to the basement. The police asks us to leave our houses as less as possible. I'll just hope for the best. For us and for the kidnapped soldiers.

Slim... although I do not have the power to request as such... it may be best that it is put of, not neccesarily closed. With Serra's current situation it might be tough to get some serious action into it. But... do as you must. I myself would like to, but I currently have enough RP battles going around as it is.

...I really hate to say it Slim, because I sat down and modified a character I was really looking forward to playing out in a story situation...but it would seem a lot of us are wrapped up in personal affairs right now. Not just Natu, but tournaments, personal issues, and other commitments.

It pisses me off to no end really...to see such a lovely story premise sitting vacant like that, only one sign up each in both the Masters only and none Masters varient. I don't want it to be pushed aside like this.

Masters...if you can, give me your words on this matter. What would you see done?

I afraid I'm out, no matter how appealing the RPG seems to be.
Currently I'm trying to find out how much the situation affects my private live and my graduating project. I doubt the attacks on both of the fighting sides will be stopped any time soon and I can only hope it wont get worse.

But it not means that you Anomaly and any other member of the club can't enjoy Slim's creation. Have fun guys ^^

Slim, I also think it would be a waste to close such an interesting RP. I would really like to participate, but at the moment I'm having trouble even posting in my tournament thread. :/

...if you would like, I could move it into the forum archives, and then return it to the RP OOC forum when everyone is ready to participate. This will keep unwanted people from posting in that thread while it lay dormant.

Just let me know, and consider it done. Then, all I'd need is a PM when you're ready to revive it, and I'll put it right back where it came from. Simple, ne?
