I think Tingle's really weird. He doesn't really annoy me though, for whatever reason. Except when he charges ridiculously high prices for translating your map later in the game.

I also liked the part you mentioned in your spoiler. That was really eerie at first.

Somehow, I knew you'd have to fight all of them, too. It seemed like it was going to be harder than it actually was, though. I actually liked all of the "Old Hyrule" parts of the game.
