None taken. I knew full well when I went into this tournament that it would not be for everyone. I even had one member so brash as to insult me for its sheer "stupidity." I just felt like trying something different this time. The tournament is always the same thing, over and over again, so I felt to really challenge the writers, I needed a very strict, very restrictive tournament, forcing everyone to do things they may have never done before.Originally Posted by Godean
Anomaly's performance was astounding; do not by any means think that his loss means he did poorly. As I stated in the judgement of that thread, it was the most difficult choice I have ever had to make in the first round of a tournament. Spike and I spent half an hour trying to decide the victor in that battle. It was amazing to read, at the very least.
In any case, I am open to suggestions for the next Tournament of Arms. It will likely begin sometime near the start of 2007. It will be completely different, that much is for certain. It will probably be more open, as the past tournaments have been, but I will undoubtedly put some unexpected spin on it, just to keep the writers on their toes. Hopefully, whatever we end up with will be more appealing to more of you, so that I can see others in competitive action.
