I will gladly wish you luck. And I thought it was cool of you to ask me about it first. Just for public knowledge, you are allowed to edit your character information to your heart's content until the thread is closed on the tenth. By all means, alter away. They are, after all, your characters.
Sometimes, female characters are fun to play around with. I used one in the 2004 Tournament of Arms. It was a lot of fun. There's a whole other aspect of depth that comes along with female fighters. More often than not, you need a stronger driving force behind them to give them a reason to fight, as female humans aren't generally aggressive by nature.
I made the mistake of making my character a little too blonde though. She spent a lot of time amazed at how far she had come and how she was able to overcome her opponents. By the time the finals came around, I changed my posting style completely. It's a good thing I did, too... the judges told me that if I had finished with the continual whiny undertones, I might have lost the tournament. It was a part of the character though... part of her personality.
Like I said, roleplaying with female characters is a whole different challenge. Or, well, it is for us guys anyway. I would assume that women would have a slightly easier time roleplaying as women. But hey, what do I know?
I'm just rambling here.
Yours,
That Ambassador Guy
