Ofcourse I have that game, it PWNS but I need more practice before playing online, my first RTS was the very first Warcraft game and I have been addicted to RTS ever since, I have played every game in the C&C series be it PC or PSX and my favorite amongst them are Generals playing with the Chinese
Firstly, I recommend signing up to the TFF Starcraft Club, it's been a bit inactive and the thread is on the second page of this forum. Despite the fact I'm not playing online at the moment, Relm is - you could practice with her, especially since no-one else in the club seems to be playing either. Then once my exams are over we could have some fun games online.

Red Alert is my favourite in the series. I've only played Generals a few times at my friend's house. From what I gathered it wasn't as fun as Red Alert, but that could just be because I played Red Alert when I was fairly young and childhood nostalgia induces a slight bias.

Oh and CS is ofcourse on my wishlist though its not as high as Everquest 2 wich I doubt my CPU can handle, but if you say I can run it I'm gonna check out the requirements on it.
I've had CS running on my 233MHz P2 with 512MB SDRAM and 4MB graphics card. I'll admit: the frame rate was incredibly poor and it took 4 minutes to load the security module when joining a server, but it worked. So I should think with the specs you have CS 1.6 should be fine.
