We've had a minority government for the last ten or so years (after the war really) with the Social Democrats in the lead most of the time. But since we're up for an election soon, I guess things could swing in favour of the right wing. We have seven major (well, some not so major) parties here, and since none of them ever gain a complete majority, they have to form a kind of coalition government.
So we have "Folkpartiet" that are rather economically right wing and yet advocate more socially liberal policies, and they have about 50% chance of gaining power in a coalition, but not on their own, no. There are two parties, The Social Democrats (left) and The Conservatives (right) that are large enough to, at least theoretically, gain enough power to form a majority government on their own. But it would never, and probably could never, happen in practice
