Your Mentor: The Baddest of the Bad

(Due to the enormous amount of success my first two threads in this group had, I felt obligated to bring you all a third. Or maybe it was because none of you have posted in several days now Has this thread already been made, and I just wasn't paying attention? I looked through all the old threads and new, and did not see it, so...)

In any event, what bad guy, or villain, do you admire the most? Who do you want to be like when you grow up? I'm sure we all have someone we would like to emulate. For me, it's gotta be Kefka from FF6.

I mean, just look at him. Crazy bastard, goes from being an annoying comical villain, to somehow the bain of the entire planet. How did he do that? Was he planning it all along? Probably something like that, as he talked about it a bit in the Magitek Factory, as to what he was going to do. Something about the statues. I can't remember exactly what.

Other than that, he just has such classic lines. ...such as... uh... well, he has a funny laugh. Oh yeah, he had that one line "I will create a monument to nonexistance!" "You all sound like pages out of a self help booklet!" "You son of a submariner!" "I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate HATE HATE HATE HATE YOU!!!" (It filled up an entire dialogue box.) In case you didn't realize, I paraphrased all of those, pretty much.

He's one of the strangest villains I've ever seen. He's not a stereotypical anime villain, like Sephiroth was (or became. Maybe Sephiroth wasn't a stereotypical anime villain when he came out, but there have been many more who have reminded me of him, like Seymore, or Vicious*sp* or, while he's not really a villain, that guy from Star Ocean 2 that was what's her name's "big brother," or even Kuja, to a small extent.) They all have white, long, shiny hair, they're all stoic, and they're all friggen' bishounen.

Anyway, yeah. I like Kefka because he was a psycho, and I think he'd be fun to portray in a play, or a movie.

I liked the guy stroking a cat. I don't know where he first came from, but he knows how it's done. I think he's from the Bond movie with ***** Galore, where he was going to set off a nuclear bomb in Fort Knox and radiate the contents. Even then, though, it doesn't matter.

His charisma really sets him apart. Not so much in terms of manipulation, but how he makes his entrances and exits. Like when he catches the superspy (Bond, I guess) and, despite any better judgement, tells him his diabolical plan. I mean, it was idiocy to even mention what he was up to, but him just being so cool easily disguises his flaws. That's the kind of villain I'd like to be.

Only without the blaring mistakes and voids in logic.

    GOOOOLDFINGA!!!

Since my first two choices were already taken [.\_/.] I'll just pull out one of the characters is probably not going to be brought up.

Indalecio the half Kefka half Sephiroth madman who didn't want to stop at anihillating the planet, but the entire universe. He controled a bunch of other madmen and had enough charisma to keep them from destorying themselves, like a red headded flying Lex Luthor.
This user is running Jason version T.0. and is subject to frequent freezeups, illegal operations, and dissapearing off the face of the planet at any time.

And by all means, drama with bad taste.

The Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

She's simply badass. A mark of true strength. She's very cool headed and so skillful. I've never seen someone characterized so beautifully. Such a deep and moving character.

I'd have to go with Saint(played by John Travolta) in The Punisher. He is cool, badass and he had it all. Power, money, and guns. He truly was evil and his plans would have worked sucessfully. He was able to take out all of The Punisher's family and cover it up. The only tragic flaw in him was that he had false intelligence, which can break up any good villian.

I have a lot of mentors.

Most will know who my favorite is (Sephiroth), but not because he was a cool villain. More of because he looked cool. I say Jenova is a better villain, so I like her too.

But when I was younger, and until now, I still think Darth Vader is quite an awesome villain. He has that human side to him and yet he always was that powerful, important and evil figure in Star Wars. Plus he looks and sounds cool. Amazing story surrounds him, and how he turned out impressed me a lot.

Other villain mentors that shaped my views on evil are:

    The Witch from Snow White
    Freddy Kreuger and Jason Voorhees
    Norman Gates from Psycho
    Regina from Mean Girls
    Jack Torrance from The Shining
    Satan from The Exorcist
    Kefka from FFVI
    Onslaught from Marvel
    Joker from Batman
    Edea from FFVIII
    Carl Stargher from The Cell
    Wesker from Resident Evil
