Oh man first time I've logged in in ages and I see this.

This is very sad this man was like a bloody father figure to a lot of us I think I can say this applies to every member that knew him that we all respected this guy and looked up to him.

Personally he helped me a lot raising my kids as he had kids around about the same age, we'd bounce ideas and joke about shit as two fathers and brothers. He was honestly a genuine human, down to earth kind hearted soul and the world needs more like him.
He will be missed and my thoughts go to his family and kids.

Jesus Christ. This is just absolutely awful to hear. I feel so badly for his wife and boys. It must be unimaginable what they're going through right now.

Wes was one of my best friends here. Even if we didn't talk all that often anymore, the times we did were like nothing had ever changed. I'll miss just talking life with him, dumb shit like beer and cigars, and then talking about family.

He was just a really good guy all around and I'll miss him.

My first thought on seeing this thread is "Who cares? Everyone dies". I didn't know the guy nor was I fan of him, so why should I be sad? What makes his death so important that a thread is dedicated to him? What did he even contribute to humanity? People die every day. I don't get people who get all sobby over a death over a person that they never even met in person. It's just the death of a rando.

Death is natural get over it

If you really want to mourn someone go mourn the brave soldiers that protect our freedoms. There are far more important things in the world going on than the death of some random gamer, like the war in ukraine and the war in the middle east? Or the riots in Minneapolis where were sparked by an innocent person being killed? Or hell even the economy.

Yeah yeah yeah, Meier link was supposedly a cool gamer but in all honesty he is a human why should he be treated any differently then any other human.
I am sick of hearing about his death Praise the dude if you want to but let him RIP and move on with life.
