I sleep diagonally. Across the bed. Mostly to keep it even between both sides since it's a pillow top. I also change the place I sleep every so often, to keep it even, as I'm the only one sleeping in a Queen sized mattress. Diagonally is comfortable.
Previously, I slept on the left side with my head closest to the door. Currently, I'm sleeping on the left side with my feet closest to the door. Eventually, over the next couple months, that will change to the right side. It's a cycle and keeps things fresh for me. It's also easier for me to change positions rather than rotate the bed. My room is small and rotating the bed is a big event. I'd much rather avoid the extra work and keep it simple.
