@Andromeda Okay, so no FF4 moon involved. Sounds fair enough. So.......what if there were TWO Xandes? Perhaps Amon did in fact create a Xande clone, at around the same time the real Xande returned. The original was eventually defeated, while the clone lived on. The tower was likely being used for energy before Xande showed up, with the whole imbalance of darkness thing being a modification on his part. That just leaves Bahamut and Dalamun. Remember the summon Bahamut Fury? Perhaps that was what was sealed in Dalamun, since in III, Bahamut is living in the floating continent.
