disregarding Bias comment where he was putting down others for using "dumb" phones as if to imply they're not competent enough to work an iphone (which is true in some cases. Not mine).

I was replying to the post as if you were talking about smartphone and quickly edited it when I realized you were talking from a 'dumb' phone background.
I would call it anything other than a dumb phone but I don't have another word for it.

Well this got of hand quickly. Both sides really are no different. On one hand you have the apple fags who just buy every product for its name recognition alone. It doesn't matter if the ipad 2 just came out, they are already salivating over the ipad 3. I think that's what pisses so many people off. Now, the people who claim hate apple for this reason are just as bad. Its like they're taking those old Mac vs PC commercials and reversing them.

Although forums are just a small part of the actual consumer base, I would be willing to say that most people have had experience with with the competition of smartphones, computers, and music players. Okay well not so much music players. So while yes, some people may just go out and buy every new Apple product or continue to buy them when they have the money or upgrade, its not like they are doing it blindly. As the haters are doing. Its not like they haven't had a PC, a blackberry, or a Zune before switching. Others just blindly hate because they have the trust in company to put out quality products every year worth their money.
