Thank you. I'm glad you've quit it with the trolling. I am a big fan of Maddox so I have learned a good deal from his sites. Content matters, not how glamorous you make your layout look.
Also, obviously no one wants to go back to the 56k days, I agree. But my project is really more of an appreciation for the time back then when we had plenty of interesting and detailed fan sites exploding (OK, not all of them, but most had unique content).
Nowadays most just copy information straight from other sites and that's about it. No, besides us wanting to bring over people who remember and appreciate the older days of the Internet when there wasn't any of that MySpace/Facebook thing going on, we also want to publish OUR own content because we LOVE that era of gaming and music.
For example, I have a heavy metal album collection/reviews page I am working on and will soon be published within our own little "Webring" of mini sites within a site.
A friend is also working on a tribute page to his favorite Zelda game. We do all this from the heart, with no cheap copy-and-paste crap!
Thanks for the more proper welcome. Appreciated.
P.S. I'm used to capitalizing the "i" on that word.

Also, internet doesn't need to be capitalized.
