Yeah... the current trend in baby development is after x months, speaking to your baby in a normal tone, in normal sentences will actually help develop the speech cortex or w/e it is. It's also said that at a year a female will say ~100 words while a male child can stumble through 30.

My niece is 3 months, almost 4... I am purposely trying to keep her from block. She doesn't need to know what or how to do skeet skeet skeet yet.
