Being a friend is also respecting your friend's decisions. Tough luck on your behalf, I suppose, but it's not relevant what his motivation was for not wanting to stay -- rather, he just didn't. The fact that you had to take him home sucks, but I don't really think it makes him any less of a 'man'.

I'll probably get flamed for this. Oh well. Maybe I'm just too stuck in a monogamous mindset. Being with a girl for three years kinda does that.
