That way they get what they want, but you don't have to lend them what you wouldn't lend. You do need to waste some money, yes, but hey, it's better than them annoying the hell out of you every second to get you to lend something to them. Ongoing pestering with the, "Oh, come on, you gotta let me borrow that," "I'll be careful," "Please," and such get extremely annoying. XX
