I get why you say that but the idea of having all this FF characters in a one soup, was a lame attempt, i think at least..
Soul Calibur 2-3 had better storyline in my opinion (and it wasn't that good).

I have nothing against the graphics in this game, they were good.
But the vocals of Squall and Zidane were so bad it offended me.
