The Pokemon games are like crack for me. I got Soul Silver on Sat, and have already poured 34 hours into it... and I have school and homework.
But I play the pokemon games more for the strategic point than for the hell of it...
Love it!!!!
I'm ok with it.
f**k pokemon
The original game on Game Boy was good. Well, the original three (red, blue, yellow). After that it got old very fast.

got heart gold, put in 56,000 steps with the pokewalker last week. plus i loved the original gold so this just made it better. especially since there is more to do in the game after you beat it. with finding all the rare pokemon from ruby to platinum. this game is the shit. down side is the pokewalker only gets you up 1 level per trip, and you miss out on moves that you would get from the level up. and i would imagine it is the same for the evolutions. but finally i can stomp pikachus face in with my typhlosion. stupid yellow rat.
yea you are ancient buddy because i had to be in about the 5th or 6th grade when it came out. I had two buddies and we would always pop some popcorn and watch pokemon everyday after school.
I miss those days. Oh and this was when that new popcorn came out that let you pour the butter on yourself........ohhhhhhhhhhhh weeeeeeeeee good times.
Sometimes I just want to be with my family and watch a movie and eat some popcorn. But when I step on the mat I know there is no other place I'd rather be." -Marcelo Garcia
To fight is a man's instinct; if men have nothing else to fight over they will fight over words, fancies, or women, or they will fight because they dislike each other's looks, or because they have met walking in opposite directions” - George Santayana
My pokewalker has been on me every minute that I'm walking somewhere, even to school. Only taking it off for sleeping and PE (Because PE is running).
I love pokemon so much I got my Heart Gold in French so that it could help me learn... More like an excuse to play it more often...
there is no point on leveling, if your at lv 100 its good to take your pokemon out for a walk. i like it anyways, but there is tons of pokewalker levels to unlock, especially... a level where you can capture a pikachu that knows HM Fly. im not lying. its one of the levels you unlock after so many thousands of WATTS you bring back to your ds.
its great for physical excersice, and which people should be doing in the first place. it got me back into it so much i even made my own pokemon region for north america and some of our own pokemon plus the main ones from the series.

The Pikachu forest is called the Yellow Forest, and sorry to break it to you but can only be unlocked by a wi-fi event starting April 1st...

no worries, i hate the little yellow rat, ill crush him and any others who support him.
Haha! I can really feel the love there. Though honestly I'd get a Pikachu that knew fly, that's awesome no matter how pitiful it is. Besides you can just evolve it into a Raichu after, right?
I need to buy this game, does it come with the step thing or that an extra buy?

I call out these prayers to the sky, heavy with thought, see your face.
I carry these memories inside, thoughts of a soul colored by love.
See me grow wings and fly high, passions will die down below.
I burn in a basin of fire, watchers look on as they dance in their merciless sky.
Watching me, watching you.
yeah the pre order was only for the mini statues.
and i got a surfing pikachu as a special gift from pokemon battle revolution.
well im sure were going to meet alot of people who like pokemon when i head down to the toronto comic con hosted by wizards. ill have my pokewalker out to recieve free gifts
I love the video games! My brothers and I have Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crysal, Saphire, Diamond, and Pearl versions and I plan on buying SoulSilver also (and my brother will probably buy HeartGold too)!
As for the cartoon show: I used to watch it a lot when I was a little kid, but now I don't really care much for it.
I'm indifferent towards Pokemon now. Every once in a while I may have the urge to play which lasts for a whole 10 hours of playing Pokemon. The games got a bit too repetitive and if I want to play a monster catching game I'll play Dragon Quest Monsters and any of that series' other games or I could go play Dragon Quest V!
Main series FFs Beaten - FF: 4x, FFII: 3x, FFIII: 3x, FFIV: 3x, FFV: 3x, FFVI: 4x, FFVII: 5x, FFVIII: 5x, FFIX: 3x, FFX: 4x, FFXII: 3x, FFXIII: 2x, FFXV: 2x
Sadly, I just had to vote 'I'm ok with it' because I love the Kanto/Johto episodes, but they keep making more and more countries/places/whatever they are, and it's getting really retarded now.
Pokemon is alright. I used to play them awhile back, just got tired of playing them after awhile. Never really had a storyline as far as I could tell. So the urge to play went away.
I still love Pokémon! I have played all the generations of the games, and still do. I agree, Pokémon was better with RBY, and probably GSC, but I still think the new games are really good.
Even after all these years, I still want my very own Pikachu :3
Yes, I still play it.
A lot of my friends, including myself, pre-ordered Soul Silver (a few pre-ordered Heart Gold), and we're all in our 20s. This one is a nostalgia thing for me, as Pokemon Silver was my favorite of the games, and it went everywhere with me 10 years ago (I played Red avidly as well when that was out, but Silver was my favorite as you get to go through Johto and Kanto).
I can't really explain why I still play the games, asside from them being strangely fun and addicting. It probably is the whole nostalgia thing.

i dont think people understand what the real purpose of the pokewalker is. true you slowly level your pokemon up, the real reason you use it is to catch wild pokemon and find rare items. with the pokewalker you can catch a magbe or even an elekid before you even reach the first gym.
having said thatm i love pokemon, and the only reason i dont have a trainer card in my sig is because the pokecharms site is down again for the billionth time.
ive been hooked on soulsilver for a while now, because like most people, g/s/cwas my favorate era of the series.
p.s. im like a humon pokepedia so if you need info just ask lol.
