Hmm. That's not the only way people can become obese. My mum is obese, and from pictures I've seen of her she has always been a little on the chubby side. She doesn't have eating disorders or diabetes. We eat fairly healthily too. Some people just have a higher metabolism than others, and can get rid of it quicker.
I guess McDonalds isn't 100% to blame. If people choose to eat it all the time, and then not take the time to burn it off, then they will gain weight.
