I have owned both consoles and I think the 360 and ps3 have similar features like the dashboard and the xmb , removable hdds, hi-def capabilities. The graphics for both systems are pretty close. Both have a wide selection of games. I like how the ps3's xmb is more organized than the 360's dashboard. I would just get the console that has more games for it that you like and go with it. I'm personally a sony fan.
