The fastest way to earn gil in the long run at TFF is through the banking system. Of course you still have to have the minimum deposit to actually acrue the interest rate but still then you get a daily percentage even if you don't make a post that day.
Down fall is you have to wait 30 days for the interest to acrue but you will instantly see the benifit after those 30 days. It is a given though that this system is for posters that are here for the long haul and shouldn't be touched by the weekend warrior or the 3 week short term members.
Now if you are not into the banking system then yes posting would be the fastest way in the shortest period of time to gain money but then again shorts posts to gain Gil is frowned apon here.
The things Dodie posted, I am not sure if they are still completely in affect but if they are they are nice for the extremely short stent.
