But anyway, sounds pretty cool that they're bringing back BC to the PS3, although I don't really need it since I still have a PS2.

And as Jin also pointed out, Sony goes in the red when every PS3 unit is sold. (Well, the first units, anyway. I don't know about now.) I think they cost somewhere around 800-1000$ to make each unit (keyword being 'think'), and they sold it for 600.
