Well... as an eco nerd i'm already crossing out the rare green flamingo. Their pigmentation comes from Beta Carotene from blue-green algae. If this means an entirely new species- well new species are being discovered all the time, and there could be a green bird, possibly even flamingo-esque in appearance. As for an actual variation of flamingo thats somehow green... no. And odd shark spottings are common- they were spotted when I was in Cornwall a couple of years ago, it's not new news.
The Barrack Obama assasination attempts are rather likely as there has been warning on assasination plots, and unfortunatly even though this is supposed to be a world where we can all get on in harmony, it isn't. As for an actual assasination, he's supposed to have a lot of bodyguards, so hopefully it won't happen. As for Sarah Palin- I can't see that scary woman going away easily! I definatly see her trying to be in the public interest for a good few years. Plus the stock market has had issues for years- its definatly not new news.
Going now to my home of England... The Queen is 82 years old so its very likely for her to have some health problems. Charles will be stalking the throne like a hungry vulture! The Duke of Edinburgh is 5 years older than her so that is also very likely. As for the stuff around Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle- both are well guarded so its unlikely, however not impossible. Also how terrorist threats are dealt with in this country (even in the rail stations of "safe" cities such as Bath), with loads of security rushing around like blue-arsed flies at a slight hint of terrorist activity (remember the man who was shot dead for jumping a ticket barrier), it should be safe. This goes for the Crown Jewels too. Sex scandels in parliament very likely though, as they've happened before.
The weather stuff is all likely, but is unlikely at the same time. Weather is too unpredictable for me to say whether I believe or not. I really am hoping for a breakthrough in stem cell research (which i've liked the idea of since hearing about it a couple of years ago), and breakthroughs in the cure for cancer, Alzheimers, and heart disease. Research is being done all the time so its hit and miss whether theres a breakthrough. Some of the celebrity health problems are likely, at least of the ones I know of such as Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Axl Rose (Axl I know has had breathing difficulty in recent perfomances). Asside from a few I really don't know much about celebreties, and to be honest, anything can happen to people and relationships make and break. Sports I know zilch about!
I'm not even going to comment on the fashion! All I have to say is horray at least i'm not a fashion victim! Also... tragedy around a mud wrestler... that's strangely made my morning! A lot of these are crap, and theres so many that its likely for some to happen- especially the likely as above mentioned, and others I couldn't be bothered to cover (i'm already rambling). Oh well... it very humerous!
