Im curious, what musical instrements do you own. this thread is discussions on instrements and what we have or even want and etc.

so answaer a few questions:

What instrements do you own?
-I have both and alto and tenor saxophone even though i know how to play all 6 of them.
alto: jupter sp,10
tenor: selmer j5,15
-I also have basic black fender squire strat(it was my first guitar)
-but i later got a beautiful ivory gibson flying v for christmas last year, it is my baby. (im spoiled if you dont know, but i am greatful)
-then i decided to try out the bass so i went out and got a basic fender jazz bass, and for a low quilty guitar, i really do love the sound.
- also in 5th grade i tried the flute, and i still have it (yea go ahead and laugh)

What instrements would you like to have?
- i would love to have a black nickel cannon ball tenor sax but im not sure i have the money for it.
- i would love to have an acoustic guitar of some kind, my dream guitar is probibly the taylor sg series. but i may have one pretty soon, im about 35 minutes from winning a bid on ebay for a top line new washburn guitar that comes with a shell case (sweet!)

Anyways, I have an Ibanez RX Series green solid body electric guitar from 1997 (or was it '94... I don't remember anymore) that I've had for a little over 2 years.

I'm not very good at it, I mostly just play it to space out and clear my mind these days, I doubt I'll ever be a very adept player with it, but oh well.

I own:
- A Yamaha YTS-23 Tenor saxophone (which now sits lonely in its case on my floor).
- BC Rich Mick Thompsen style black Warlock guitar (it was part of a cheap package, and the input for the chord broke a couple of weeks later)
- An Aspen acoustic guitar
- A Yamaha YTR-2335 Trumpet (though I doubt I could play well anymore)

As for what I want to have:

i would love to have a black nickel cannon ball tenor sax but im not sure i have the money for it.

I would LOVE to have one of those. I remember when I was in high school, and took saxophone lessons, I spent hours drooling over the nickel plated saxophones.

Also, I really want a Warr guitar ( http://www.warrguitars.com ) . It doesn't matter what type, as long as it's the 14 or 15 string version.

right now i have a violin, coz i'm learning to play this one. What i want to have is to own a piano and guitar... well about the piano thing, it's alright for me that i can have keyboard (like yamaha or any brand that has a memory on it... together with a laptop with a musical notation software on it (Finale, etc.) i am getting addicted on this things and i'm glad i got a chance to learn these instruments, as long as i am surrounded with the bunch of people who's really good on these things!!

I own an acoustic guitar, I don't know what type it is or anything like that. It's not a real expensive one either. I wanted an electric guitar but obviously they are a tad bit more expensive. I have been trying to learn to play the guitar but things don't seem to be going well haha. I am very impatient though which doesn't help and I give up easily. ><

I play bass and guitar really. More guitar but bass to certain bands.

Guitar I have a borrowed Standard Fender Strat. It's wine red and has a maple fretboard. I plan on buying the Ernie Ball Music Man Axis HH, expensive but I plan on just paying it off in installments.

My bass is a Fender P. It's Sage Metallic Green with a rosewood fretboard and is in very good condition and pretty for what it is.

Well, I own an ordinary acoustic guitar and an old Fender strat. I also have a cheap electronic keyboard somewhere at home and a borrowed old Saxophone and a Clarinet. They're all at my place, safe and sound, and I play them all (not that good on piano, though xD)

I'd like to have a drumset but it's a bit expensive. I play the drums, I just don't have a drumset.

My first instrument was an Acoustic guitar, which I still have, and I love it very much. Even though it's been lying under bed and has gotten prrrettyyy dusty for about nine months now. But it was my first guitar, so it'll always have a place in my heart lol.

I also have an electric guitar, but I'm not so sure what type it is. It does say 'Vintage' at the top of the neck, but whether that's a guitar make, I don't know. It's black, and smothered in a bunch of free band stickers I got out of a Kerrang! mag. Front and back

I'd love to have a piano though. It's a really lovely instrument, and makes beautiful music. But I doubt I'd be good at playing it. I have tiny fingers, which is a HUGE disadvantage to piano playing. But we'll see ^.^

Whan i was at skool i use to play violin, i got rather good at it before i quit cos my teacher was a b*tch.
I really would love to get back into it again, and have my own violin, cos it sounds lovely

Aww. What's even a bigger disadvantage is having huge fingers that hits three notes in one press.

Pianos are nice though. I would love to try it out one day and create a ballad. I can't sing for shit though.

I have an acoustic guitar, well I did have one. I got it last year from my dad on my birthday. It was a cheap one too. I didn't play it that much though as I had wanted to. It'd be awesome getting an electric one though.

The only instrument I have is a Les Paul Electric Guitar. It was my uncle's. But I can't use it at full force at the moment because the little amplifier's busted. Also, there's a toy piano here, if that counts.

I'd like to have a drumset. I play the drums and the piano but I'm not that good at piano yet. I want to learn by myself because formal lessons are expensive. Besides, it's more fun.

Er.. I don't have any instruments at this moment.. but.. I do Like to have a vioLin! I know dat it kinda hard to study pLaying vioLin especiaLLy I didn't start at my young age (Like 7 or 8 yrs. oLd).. I kinda depended on my voice.. but I just reaLized dat it wouLd be better to have atLeast a knowLedge on pLaying any instruments.. and I pick to have a vioLin.. Hope it wouLd turn weLL..

Add-on: I just watched an anime 'bout a magic vioLin.. (La Corda D'Oro "Primo Passo") and that what makes me think and want to pLay a vioLin :-)

I have 3 guitars:

A crappy black Encore Strat clone (my first guitar)
A Squire 25th Anniversary Strat in dark green with a black scatch plate
An Epiphone SG Special in red (This is my favourite)

Hopefully I am getting a BC Rich Warlock as a Christmas present

I would absolutely love an Ibanez Iceman X. They are just sex.

Because I've benn playing both for about 9 years now? But I didnt practice much.
Oboe taked home daily for music class to practice, does that count? xD

I'd really like to play the flute. I sounds so great and I really wanted to leard it. To think I got jealous when the ppl next to me could play them. Or maybe the clarinet. For my dad has one in korea and said he's gonna bring it the next time he comes.

I played the clarinet in the high school marching band. I play and own a gibson epiphone 4-string bass guitar. i own a stargazer electric guitar and an acustic guitar(offbrand). I CAN play keyboard and percussion instruments but dont have enought money to own them.

I have a Stratocaster style electric guitar which my boyfriend bought for me when I passed my driving (theory) test, and I am getting the amp for Christmas.

I want to learn to play it but I don't have the time or money for lessons.

I currently own and play both a Baritone(T.C) and a Vantage Avenger style gituar. I like to play both but I think I am a better baritone player than a gituar player.

I would love to have a keyboard just beacuse people say I have good piano hands and my favorite songs are on Keyboard so there...
