    First thing's first.

    I love this idea, don't get me wrong. It takes away all of those individual poetry threads and lumps them all into one messy, unorganized box. (See where I'm going with this?)

    Mind you, I don't think a thread like this should be mandatory for people to post their poetry in. Sometimes people don't feel comfortable doing something like that.

    Another thing, is that this takes away from forum content. All the poetry in this thread would make the forum look baren, aside from what author discussions we have.

    I may be wrong in thinking this, but I don't think this will really work. And I'm not going to sticky this thread because we have enough stickies as it is in this forum.

    If the literary works thread was updated regularly, all of the poetry threads by people would be linked to in there in an organized manner.

    Now, if you did that in the first post and organized everything, it could work, but again, would take away the uh.. core content of this forum and make it look empty.

    That's just my take on it though, as the forum's moderator.

    So, bottom line: I want a million threads hanging around. It makes this place seem active.
