I haven't done any reaserch into this yet but to me ultimantly to me the Sydney story is complete, it would be stupid to bring her back for another film. but if Wes has half a head left on his shoulders he would dump the original cast and crew (maybe have one of them on there for cameo purposes, Ex Gail Weathers) and start the story anew. New cast, new killer, new concept.
I agree. Sydney's role was complete and couldn't have been done in any other way. The only I see if Neve does come back is if she has a small role with Syndey in the beginning and she gets killed off. Sorta like Sarah Michelle Gellar's character in 'The Grudge 2'. But if they are bringing in a new cast with a new plot and stuff then it should be interesting.
