Plain cheese pizza. New York City style. Nothing beats it, and it's one of my absolute favorite foods since the beginning of my solid-food-eating days.
I'm not a fan of loads and loads of toppings because the way I see it, a plain pizza is perfect if made correctly, with only the best ingredients and just a hint of Parmesan and Peccorino Romano cheeses, along with a fair amount of mozzarella. If you put more crap on it, it's like you're trying to cover something up.
The only time a multitude of toppings is acceptable is if it's really shitty pizza to begin with, and the toppings distract from the pizza taste. There's a place up in Bing that makes kinda crappy regular pizza, but they make AMAZING honey mustard chicken pizza. true story
