Hmm, mind if I join?

Born and raised in the U.S., and despite what other countries say, I'm proud of it! I believe we have an amazing history and lifestyle, and while of course there's things that go on that are "typical American" I wouldn't change my citizenship for anything.

I was born in southern California, in Glendora. My father being in the military, we moved a lot and went to most of the 'States. Due to moving so much, my mom home-schooled my three siblings and I until my dad retired in '98 and we moved to Idaho. I went to and graduated from a public high school, and now I go to college here.

For those who know anything about Idaho, you think 1 of 3 things: 1.) it's the land of potatoes, 2.) Its where Napoleon Dynamite was filmed, or 3.) No one knows where it is. I've heard them all.

I've traveled quite a bit, and last year I was very fortunate to visit Japan and Israel. I'm glad to have a home turf, and even though it's great meeting different people and visiting different cultures, I love being able to drive in controlled traffic and speak to someone in English. Ha.
