So the TFF awards opened the other day. Surprisingly, we have already eighteen replies.
I don't know if I'll be voting this year, although I'll probably kick the bucket and do it.
I know roughly who I feel fit all the categories. What else? I've been contemplating my new paintings. I think I'll do some festive ones, and perhaps a copy of OceanEyes' sea view, which I have permission to do. Yay!

Yeah was a summer maybe 4 years ago or something where that chatroom was popular and we really were staying up till 5-6 whatever, it was light again. Love those days.
Nowadays I mainly do it in combination with FFXI lol, still very fun...the whole woring of the lolsleep.

****ing hell, give me sunshine any day! This place...I have not seen blue sky in DAYS...I wake up to a sky of grey, a sea of grey, roads and buildings and people of grey...
I'm moving to Belgium, Ghent, with the cafés in the streets with the sunshine falling on them. And bars you can smoke in. And a lower percentage of total idiots wandering the streets.
And mainly the sunshine.
I'm not sure the weather would be that different, considering its on roughly the same latitude as England XD, i've not witnessed the weather in scotland first hand but i used to live in Newcastle and it wasn't much different from where i am now heh. Personally i love it when it rains, i went out walking in a full on storm the other day, got a few funny looks from people since i didn't have a coat on or something i guess.
I like a strong storm as much as the next person, but the constant weather up here...the city I live in is on the same latitude as Norway and Canada, only the Gulf Stream stops us from getting proper snow and reduces everything to a state of grey mulch.
And I have to spend the next 2 hours of my life ripping Etre et Avoir to bits...again...oh, woe is me woe is me. etc. Feel pity. NOW.
Pretty decent movie/documentary thing if its the one i'm thinking of, about some school in france with only 1 teacher or something? Enjoyed watching that, although it was a while back >.>;
Grey weather does kind of suck aswell heh, although it can't be as bad as Norway's... well bad if you don't like snow, 2 of my friends live out there and they're always complaining about the snow and temperature haha, pansies!

Yes, it is that film! I really like it, as a film; the kids are so cute, Mr. Lopez is a sound guy, and the photography and music...but I have to sit and rip it up, I'd rather leave it as it is. I've done one presentation on it already, and now I've got to dismantle the whole thing instead of just one scene...in particular the bits with Jojo. Him vs. the photocopier still makes me giggle, mind.
Seems like a lot of Universities/Colleges now are using that film for media studies courses, i don't really blame them because its so different from most of the tripe thats on TV now haha.
Respect to Mr Lopez, if only all teachers were more like him maybe we'd have less chav's about XD. Jojo is freaking awesome, its great seeing how he progresses thoughout the film.
