If I'm kind of off-base by shifting gears here just let me know or disregard this, but there's one aspect of the show that I've been meaning to inquire about to all of you.

Who here, besides myself, has noticed that Ichigo finishes all his major fights in exactly the same fashion? You know what I mean? The whole stand-off, charge each other and swing, one person walks away thing. The culminating charge-and-slash, I guess you might call it.

I wouldn't bring it up if it didn't annoy me slightly. I mean, it was cool when he fought Zaraki and Zangetsu was like "I'm giving you all of my power" and they had to do it in one final attack like that, but then he did the SAME thing for Byakuya (although that was a bit cooler what with destroying his zanpakutou), then the SAME thing AGAIN for Kariya.

It wasn't brought to my attention until I saw the movie and that's how he beat that guy too. It really agitated me this time because Ichigo pretty much got slapped around the entire fight but then just suddenly got pissed enough to do his trademark killing blow. Seemed like they didn't put much thought or effort into the fight if you ask me.

So have you guys noticed that about the series and all the major fights? Does it annoy you as well? As I said before, the first time or two it was amazing, but after that it just seems redundant and lackluster.

Penny for your thoughts. Or maybe a credit I should say...
