Using the above link, give us an approximation of your appearance. This creator is not exactly what the Nintendo Wii is capable of (Wii's Mii creator has less features, at present). I don't see a way to export your Mii into some format, so you will have to take a screenshot of your completed Mii and crop out the unneeded bits of the interface, your desktop, etc. Maybe there is an export function there and I'm just not seeing..

This is my "Get off my lawn!" impression.

Here's Mii.

The Mii creator is a little weird. This was released before the actual Mii creator came out, right? The hair thumbnails are taken literally, so the one hairstyle that fit curly the best (for me) looks pretty bad. I managed to piece something together. I didn't work too hard on my own Mii, so it only looked somewhat like me. I was just trying to copy my Wii Mii with that Mii creator, so it probably looks even less like me. Mii Mii Mii. My hair isn't quite that long.

Actually I can't make my Mii because this one doesn't have the beanies. It has nice spikey haired options though, unlike the wii one.

Those spikey haired ones are what I used for my Wii Mii. The hair spikes were moderately sized and good enough to be curly hair. Nintendo absolutely hates curly hair. Hopefully they make a big Mii update one day. What was the name of your hairstyle...? Haha. It all converged on a single point or something.

Yeah unfortunately the flash is lacking in a lot of areas. It doesn't have a beanie option, or else I would have picked that, too. I probably would have edited a 1-up mushroom onto the beanie. It's my hat of choice.

Man, my Wii Mii looks so much more accurate, and by accurate I mean 'pissed'.

But hey! Since fiT is putting up Wii #'s, LET'S ALL DO IT TOO! I say this because ballzy knows of only two people with Wiis and one of them only plays games on it and the other is S-dawg so both are negated as people. Please, I'm desperate for communication and brains.

They're mostly for communication and certain Wii games. I know that Wii Sports and Wario Ware use them -- both for whoever's playing and "audience members". Not sure about any others at the moment .. oh, and Wii Play, which I don't have. And yeah ~~ communication ~~ send with messages and stuff ~~ and to other people's Wii's~~~

At this point they don't have too much use, honestly. Like Tiff said, they're used for Wii Sports, Ware Ware so your Mii is in the game. They also appear randomly in the crowds and so forth. Beyond that, they haven't been used used for much. The Wii's just getting warmed up though, and there are a very large number of ways they could be included. I have a blast just creating tons of Miis though...=P Come Heero! Get a Wii! Make Miis with us. Nobody else wants to (other than Kazzy), but you know YOU want to!

There was a rumor post at 1up where some GameStop exec (I think?) was talking about how Nintendo was going to open up the floodgates on their Wii stock. It was supposed to happen sometime in April? You don't hear this all that much. Usually when someone says Wiis are coming, they're coming, so there's a good chance it's true.

Not that I'm saying you should buy it (!!! =P)...If there isn't anything on there you're interested in, then yeah. But I'm sure something will appear soon enough.

It probably has more RPGs slated it for it now than the GameCube ever had...lol. And you'll probably like Wii Sports. And Resident Evil.

I'm just waiting for someone to appear and burst my bubble.

I want to get a Wii, but I do not have the money to purchase one. I would have, but I couldn't wait to find one, and got a PS2 with a bunch of games instead. Then like two weeks later, I finally saw a Wii, and I was pissed (mostly at myself for not being patient at all.)

I really want to play Twilight Princess and Super Paper Mario, and I think at least few others at the moment. Anyhoo...

Oh, no. I know a few people who have a Wii, but few to none enjoy just screwing around in the Mii channel for hours on end. Most would probably think it's a waste of time.

EVERYONE.

I have an announcement:

"Get a Wii. Do it. Do it."

I can't wait until I can afford one. My good friend has one and I visit his place often to play, but it is not the same as having one of my own. I need to create my whole Mii family and Mii friends. I'm also going to make some of my old bosses and then go up against them in Wii boxing. I have a laundry list of Virtual Console games I want to download and play, some for the first time. The rest of the console's features (weather, news, photo channels) are just a plus.

As if I didn't already have enough to warrant the purchase of the Wii, I now have a new reason to dream about it. Unless this is some very elaborate European April Fools trick on poor gamers across the globe, It looks like an old Sega Saturn franchise, NiGHTS, is getting a sequel on the Wii. For now, exclusive to the Wii. And online features. My god I'm excited.

I figured it wasn't, considering it was a GameStop executive who said it and how these tips/rumors always seem to be right. When I say floodgates though, I mean more than usual. I had to sit around for mine from 5:30 A.M. until 11:00 A.M or so, and it was hell. If these shipments are big enough to save at least some people from camping, then that's good enough, haha.
