Rap music used to be more about the music than the rapping...I dunno. The whole "I'm going to drink forty ounces of beer and commit violent acts towards the prostitutes in my service" doesn't really appeal to me. Music does not have to come off like a confidence trick or a sale being pushed...I dunno how to phrase it, characterize it.
