Tales of Berseria is Linked to Tales of Zestiria's World

Namco Bandai has talked about Tales of Berseria's world more explaining of where it takes place. Berseria takes place in the Wasteland, which is in the middle of the Glenwood continent. The world of Zestiria is far in the future and so bunch of it is going to be very different from what players saw before, but there will be some history and civilizations with familiar points in Berseria. They say that exploring Berseria thoroughly can revealed new details about Zestiria.

There is a disease that is transforming humans into beasts. Most of the humans lose their senses and act on instinct. But there are some humans that remain their sense of self called Gomabyo. The Goma are humans that are turned into beasts. The Seirei is a tribe of people that use nature for artes and are familiars of humans. And when the moon turns scarlet it has a connection to the Goma and called the Scarlet Night.
