Alright TFF'ers, this is it. Finally a recipe thread so you can all put your words where your mouth is....or my mouth where your words are....or our words on mouths? Anyways drop some recipes for us to try out. That is key..take these recipes and let us know if you botched them, you liked them, you thought hot dogs were better.

Oh YEAH! If you decide to change something 'bout the recipe post that too, together we shall make the ultimate foods!!

So I'm going to say drop one recipe per post and give time for people to try it before posting another. I imagine that you all, like me aren't financially sound so it might take awhile to get the necessary ingredients. (I only grocery shop once a month, but maybe I'll make an exception for you guys/girls/people.

Alright first recipe:

*ahem*

Turkey Meatball Soup

Ingredients:
Soup:
3 cups of chicken broth(yeah even though it is turkey meatball!)
2 small onions....sliced(small is totally relative to how much onion you want in your soup)
1 carrot and 1 celery stalk....sliced
Quarter tsp(teaspoon, I never thought whether it was a universal ingredient measuring device) pepper and thyme
1 sweet red pepper....chopped
1 cup vermicelli egg noodles
half cup frozen peas....thawed

Meatballs:
1 egg
Quarter cup grated onion
Quarter cup Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp(table spoons) parsley
Quarter tsp(Teaspoon) salt and pepper (so really two quarters of a tsp one for each)
1 lb of ground turkey

Oh ssshhh...um I just realized that because we all live in different areas we will have different measuring systems. Ah whatevs you are all smart enough to use the interwebz to find the conversions

How to make it EDIBLE:
The balls of meat - Take a bowl(one big enough to hold in the Meatball ingredients) combine the egg, onion(grated), Parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper, then mix in the turkey. Use a tbsp(Table spoon) to shape your balls so they aren't too big or too small.

Grease a baking sheet and bake the balls at 400F, if you have a digital thermometer you want your balls center to be at 165F. If you don't have one you are aiming for about 15 minutes of baking time depending on your oven and such.

Now while that is going on grab a sauce pan, bring your chicken broth and 3 cups of water to a boil. Add your onions, carrot, pepper and thyme, celery. Once they are added reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

After that, add your red pepper, egg noodles, and the meatballs. Simmer with the cover on until your noodles are al dente* (ballpark about five minutes) after add your peas until they have heated through and you are good to serve...

..Well it might be hot, but maybe you like your soup hot. Anyways enjoy amigos.

*Now if you are like me when my sister taught me this you might be thinking 'what the hell does al dente mean' Well use this wiki article to answer your question or if not you are looking for firm but not hard noodles, got it?

PS...I really wanted to put Bitch in the title instead of pwwweeease but realized that might come off as sexist. So I didn't...
