I live near a school, and I was surprised how many kids were running around, some without costumes on! We didn't have anything to give them, so we just ignored the knocks. BUT my boyfriends brother (who lives with us now) was getting dressed in his room, which is right next to the front door and this little girl yelled out, 'I CAN SEE YOU IN THERE!' I bet she got more than she was expecting.

I have no problem with Halloween, but because it's not a tradition in Australia, I'm pretty sure the kids here don't give a shit about what it's all about and just want some free candy. Plus, I don't want a bunch of little shits running around my neighbourhood. Why don't their parents just buy them a bag of lollies?! Plus it was on a school night here, so they should've been doing their homework.
