While playing through some of the Final Fantasy titles, has there ever been an idea introduced that you wished the game would have expanded a bit more on? It doesn't have to be anything major, but just something that you would have liked to have seen more of.

To clarify, I'll give a couple of examples: In Final Fantasy VIII, Zell has a hoverboard that he rides in on during one of the early scenes in the game. It gets taken away, and we never see it again, but I think it would have been neat to see some sort of minigame or something that had hoverboards that the player could use.

One other example would be in Final Fantasy XIII when Hope (and the player) gets to control that mech-suit thing and smash open gates and knock back enemies. That would have been awesome if there were other parts in the game where you got to do something similar.
