    COME ON GUYS!!! Let's come back down rationality, k? It's no need to go all crazy. I'll continue this answering my own question.

    A: The Cetra (Ancients) made the Ancient City become so fertile because (Getting into some FF7 history) the Ancients didn't want Jenova's will (infection) to be spread. SO, in order to prevent this and others (the NORMAL people of the Planet) from being corrupt, the Cetra drove theirselves to a far place of isolation and let that be their final resting place (the died being infected by Jenova, including Aeris' mother).
