Your favorite character to play as in dissidia

I have to say that mine's Jecht (Not cloud or sephiroth?! GASP!!!). Sure, his brave attacks take some time to master and playing as a musclebound, shirtless Adonis is a Homophobe's nightmare (not a homophobe. just joking) but when you do get a hang of him (bow chicka bow wow) he's a pretty damn awesome character. not only this but he's got a good place in the story. He's a father who's pretty damn scared of showing any emotion other than macho, forced to fight his son who desperatly wants to beat the shit outta him. He properly disciplines his son by Shoving a sword(which to be perfectly frank, should be censored) through his gut, incinerating him and kicking molten boulders at him. all in all, he's a badass character and a badass father to boot...Kinda reminds me of my dad...the molten boulder part especially.

Zidane by far, but I'm also pretty biased since he's my favorite FF protagonist. I love his speed and agility, he's so much fun to run around as. Other than that, on the Cosmos side I have been having fun lately using Bartz and Warrior of Light. I'm not much good with them but its come to that time where I need to level up the rest of my guys since Zidane's been Lvl. 100 for some time now. I could easily use tricks like the Exdeath strategy to level all of them up in no time, but I'd rather spend time with the characters and get the hang of each one, and see how I like them. Besides, if they were all already leveled to the max, I'd have nothing to do at work/bus stops!

On the Chaos side, I like playing as Kuja and Kefka. Though I find the former one of the hardest characters to use, he's also my second highest level. And Kefka's just one of those characters that's fun to play as, simply for his character.

I like playing as a few of the characters. I don't think I can pick just one.

I have worked a LOT with Sephiroth. Maybe it's just due to personal preference to him as a character, but I like playing as him in Dissidia. For me, he's pretty well-rounded. He's got power and speed, which is a good combination to have. It sort of sucks that he is more of a close-range fighter, so you have to be pretty much on your opponent in order to deal out some damage, but if your good enough (not saying I am by any means...) this probably isn't a problem.

Kuja is another one that I like to play as. I haven't worked with him nearly as much as Seph, but he's pretty cool to play as. I like that he can glide around the battlefield. It's pretty useful when you want to get out of harms' way. Oooohh...and I like hearing his dialogue when he's fighting.

As for the hero side, I'm pretty good with Tidus, because he's quick and pretty agile. I can dodge a lot of hits that come his way. I gotta admit, when I played his story, I had a tough time defeated Jecht. I had to work with Tidus a LOT before I could take down Jecht. That's probably why I'm good with him now, is because of all the extra training I did with him. There are things I don't like about him though. I'm not too fond of his Energy Rain midair attack move. If you don't land it right, he's left open for an attack from the opponent, which could lead to defeat. I suppose all characters have thier weakpoints though.

Oooohh...and I like hearing his dialogue when he's fighting.

The single best thing about Kuja is his constant "Well now!" "Well now! "Well now!" "Well now!" "Well now!" "Well now! "Well now!" "Well now!" whenever dodging.

Zidane was mine at first for his speed and aerial abilities. I find a lot of the other characters to be just too slow for my preferences. I've always favored agility over defense, so he was a natural choice. However, as much as I like his combat advantages I've just never been all that fond of his character.

And then I started unlocking the villains, Zidane falling out of favor almost instantly. I found a character who was just as, if not more agile than Zidane and possessing the power and ability to strike at any range. A character with grace, flair, and a malicious intent made elegant with poetic words. He also happens to be my favorite Final Fantasy character. I now play almost exclusively as Kuja.

My main is definitely Tidus. I like running around like a maniac. Unlike Onion Knight, though, Tidus has strong attacks. His Dodge and Counter moves are pretty awesome, as you can, well, dodge and counter!

As time passed, I found other great characters to play as.

And those are the other characters I use, in no particular order. The others I don't really use, mostly because I can't use them right, and because some of them are my friends' mains. No stealing allowed.

Hmm i have only really bbeen play it a couple days ( got it + a psp for christmas )

but i found that Onion Knight, it quite good, despite his weak attacks, he has the speed to back that up, i looked into it abit more and Onion Knight at level 100 has the highest base speed and zidane can only beat him with speed boost.

Say that, out of personal preference i would have to say that Terra or Zidane are my favourite to play.

Zidane is insanely overpowered compared to most of the other characters. He has Brave --> HP attack chains, his Stellar Circle 5 punishes aggressive close range opponents, his Free Energy takes no startup time to use, he can use Grand Lethal to get the drop on opponents without getting punished, and so on. Because of all these reasons, I prefer him over any other character.

Initially, Butz/Bartz was my first character I mained, simply because he was very versatile and FF V is one of my fave FFs. Then I started using Zidane and Tidus because I like fast characters and FF IX and X ARE my fave from the series.

I also found using the 'older' characters like Firion, Onion Knight, Cecil and I loved using them. Generally, I didn't like the chaos characters (except for jecht and kuja) because they are just too slow for my liking

Bullpoopie zidane is way better in that he can do more damage and is much more accurate(tidus' accuracy is kinda crappy) and there is no point in saying "if used correctly" cuz it's just in the skill of the player and I would pown you if I got a fair match where our equipment is similar in level

and for nunubx once I get all of my equipment and accesories to really good ones my ranking with Cecil,kuja,and zidane will be SSS already they are all s even though all their equipment is for lvl 20 characters and only have 3/6(as in I only have 6 slots) of my accesories equipped are ones I want and 2 of them are booster accessories so what's your rank?

I use Zidane and Squall from Cosmos side and from Chaos side I use...well, actually I don't use anyone, not even my favorite character Kuja. I haven't played that much with characters from Chaos side, but I think I'll start with Kuja and Golbez.

I use Zidane for his agility, speed and aerial attacks, also he's my favorite character form Cosmos side. I usually don't like slow character but Squall makes it up with his strength and Hp attacks.
