Final Fantasy Drinks Anyone...?

[Fuzz]

For all of you drinkers out there... checkout this unique event hosted by a pub called Scrollbar out of Denmark. They featured custom drinks featuring creative names from the Final Fantasy series. I don't know about you, but I can go for a shot of One Winged Angel about now...

ok this has to be one of the coolest things i have ever seen ranks right up there with jager and my wifes cesarian (j.k.)!

man i wish some one would of thought about doing something like this close to my home heck i would be tempted to drive states to get to this kind of event. i must say this is one hell of a find fuzz! now wheres my hellfire!

I actually had a go at this first I published this a long time ago:


:Mako Eyes:

- 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
- 1/2 oz Apricot Brandy
- 1/2 oz Gin



Next on the graph is

:ULTIMA:

1 oz Absinthe
1 oz Chartreuse
1 teaspoon of sugar

This one is not too different from the spell in the game...if you take the full brunt of it then you will have your ass handed to you.

Next is

:Cait Sith:

1 oz Goldschlauger
2 oz milk
1 oz coffee



On the list is

:Cloud:

1 oz Vodka
1 oz Cuervo
1 oz Blue Curacao
1 tablespoon of sugar


Coming up is

:Aeris:

1 oz Green Goddess Absinthe
2 oz Grenadine



on the menu is

:The triple "V" or The Vampire Vincent Valentine:
1 oz Vodka
3 oz Cranberry juice
Ice cubes
1 oz Chambord raspberry liqueur
1 oz Absolut Citron
3 oz Apple juice

mmm tangy...

Up next is

Vicious Cid
1 1/2 oz Light rum
1/2 oz Southern Comfort
1/2 oz Triple sec
1 oz Lemon juice
1 dash Bitters

All of those drinks sound great, and I'd love to try out some of them! Once I can get my hands on some of the stuff to mix with, we'll see lol!

I've only test drove three of them to be honest. Mako Eyes, Ultima and Aeris. Aeris was my fav. Yummy.

Yea, I made them. Back when I had a liquor cabinet instead of a bottle or two.

Aeris is my favorite. It had a licorice kool-aid taste. Very nice.

I will surely have to give some of these a go when I can get my hands on some of the liquor to mix them up. Those will be some crowd-pleasing drinks lol. I wish there was some Old Skool love, though...

I love a good Hydra's Roar when I'm playing me some FFV.

3 parts Coruba Rum
1 part of the cheapest Baijiu you can find. (A few Chinese places may have some.)
2 parts of a Schnapps you love the taste of.

Depending on the Baijiu and Schnapps used, this will taste either heavenly. Or like you got it straight from the fuel tank of the nearest motor vehicle. I won't be held responsible in any way if you decide to try my little concoction.

I would NEVER pass up an opportunity to make a drink named after you! Consider it done. I shouldn't have too much trouble thinking up one for you. Like I told Winterborn, give me a week. I'll crawl back with a cocktail with your name on it. Provided, you let me drink you. ><

Also, you note that no one came up with the Cosmo Candle(seeing that was one of only like two mixed drink cocktails in the game)

The moogle one sounds gorgeous! The colour of the cactuar one looks amazing, though I don't think i'd like it. Most cocktails seem to have orange juice in or an equivelant beverage I cannot consume- although it's normally the ones with my favorite alchohol- Malibu, which are mixed with the various fruit juices i'm intollerant to.

I would of loved to have gone there though... may have to get a few of my gamer friends for a drunken nerd night their sometime! xD

Late response, but saw those (from the OP) a while back. They're pretty similar to standard drinks though ... I'll try some of the others posted here when I get the chance. Kind of in a dry zone now though :X

I used to joke around with my friends about doing a cosplay-oriented bar with the bartender as Tifa or Cloud. Haha.

That's a pretty cool idea but I don't even like alcohol so I doubt I would drink any of them. I have tried different things but have never had a drink for myself, I don't want to. I'm happy with just drinking soda and other goodies.

I like the names they have for the drinks. Some of them have the ideal names, especially Cactuar and Moogle, they suit them well.

That is pretty awesome. Those would be absolutely perfect for cosplay parties. A Summoner Yuna sounds good about right now.

Edit: Scratch that. Diamond Dust sounds much better. It is very hot here and that particular drink has plenty of liquor in it.
