Hey I am in a band!

Yup some of you know it some don't. I picked back up the sticks last year and have played a few gigs on drums since with my band, Not it Public.

Other then that I have managed, booked, promoted, ran sound and lighting setups, done tech work, hosting and performed on stage doing acting and back up vocals for bands.

I know Ally is another TFFer performs live and creates music and is doing well with it.

For me it's a hobby but also a passion and I have a lot of fun with it .

So what about the rest of you? Do you play? What instrument? How long? Promote yourself!

I wish I were in a band. I know a dude that makes music and has it for sale but I could never write music. I do diddle with the piano though but I just play everyone elses music because I'm a lazy sod. I think its pretty cool your in a band though =D I guess I wouldn't mind being a session pianist or something, that would be cool.

I know about your band! I follow them on Facebook! Their picture is you looking like homeless old man with your crazy beard still, right? Fun stuff. Sounds a bit like 90s grunge to me, maybe.

I have a keyboard, a mini synthesizer, a bass, computer programs, and a microphone that I've recorded some stuff with. My brother and I have recorded some stuff together. We might release it some day, and we've talked about maybe playing coffee shops or something when I get home (we would obviously have to practice before we did that). I've also told my friend back home that I'm going to teach him parts to some songs I've written, and make him play them for me. He's like "is that right?"
