Anyone here play it yet? Haven't played the first two, but I did love Nier despite its inherent faults as a budget title...tends to be the case for me. AAA games like most of Nintendo's first party stuff or Final Fantasy, Halo, etc. are good but I generally find more unique experiences in games like Deadly Premonition or Earth Defense Force 2017.
So can anyone tell me how it compares to Nier? Or the other two Drakengard games out of curiosity - may not get a chance to play those. Have heard it's more level structured than open world which is a little disappointing but the combat on the other hand looks deeper and as stylistic as Killer is Dead.
Have been saving for FF10/10-2 but may put that off depending on what others have to say about this game.

Not a bad thing at all. Initially disappointed with how easy it was but it's gotten more challenging. Have yet to die but have come close a few times. Perhaps I've been a bit spoiled with both Demon's and Dark Souls lately, but I suppose the trade off here is swarms of enemies and generally having a faster pace.
