Tifa's SHIT Weapon.

My favourite party in ff7 is Cloud, Red, Cid however I do like Tifa. The only problem I have with Tifa is her Ultimate Weapon the Premium Heart is shit. The Weapons power relies on the length of her limit break bar. Hence if she is close to using her limit break she hits very strongly but if you have just used her limit break the hits are extremely weak. Is there any other Weapons for her that would be better for her at this point?

It should also do more damage based on how many Yeah!'s you hit.

counter materia stacks. You build tifa with 8 counter attack materia to fill her premium heart slots. You leave her limit bar at max, to deal maximum damage reguardless of enemy and have tifa as your support/death dealer.

premium heart is incredibly powerful since if you leave your limit at max, it always deals 9999. if she is attacked just once with this build, you will kill any enemy with 8x 9999. Equip under her armor a master magic coupled with a quadra magic support and a mega-all and just have her cast supportive magic or descructive magic.

You cant attack manually, but you dont need too. If you want to you can always equip the Godhand, but you only get 4 slots (iirc).

I have an obsession with strong female characters.

I've never really used Tifa endgame so I can't make any suggestions for the Premium Heart, although now that i've read Rowan's post I really want to try that out haha. If only there was an extra dungeon or two where you could put that sort of thing to the test, aside from Emerald and Ruby Weapon.

You could stack Counter Attack Materia on any decent weapon and it'll kill most enemies with little trouble. I've got 4 on Cloud's Apocalypse (triple growth, baby) and that does about 5000 x4 damage per counter.

From memory, counter attack stacks cap out at 8, but if you get the command counter materia and couple that with 4x cut, im pretty sure you can hit for a maximum of 12 times in a single go. Yuffie holds the record for most damage dealing capablitily though, her limit doom of the living is insane if you can get the damage up.

@ Joleine: What Materia do you have equipped to Tifa at the moment? If you tell us what you have planned for her maybe we could give you some ideas. I say this becuase I've found the Materia you have installed can be just as important as the weapon you have equipped around the end of the game.

Also can you link Command Counter to Ultima? I had an idea to have a couple of these on Vincent a while ago but I wasn't sure if it only wokred for actual commands like Steal or Morph.

There is counterattack materia, counter materia and magic counter materia. Sorry If i confused by saying "command counter', but 'counter' materia works with commands. The 'Magic counter' can be won at the chocobo races or found in the northern cave. If you equip a master magic coupled with quadra magic, you may counter any magic coupled with 'magic counter' four times. If you have a mega-all also equipeed (does not need to be coupled with anything to work) you can counter 4 times against all enemies.

I have tested this with ultima and it works; although mega-all isnt necessary for ultima.

Hi this is joleine and this is the materia I have every time. My materia is all mastered at this point and I have HP plus Magic plus Counter attack Luck plus Speed plus. This is my command materia double cut mime enemy skill. The other materia I have in my empty slots is to raise her MP up to 999 MP.
