Ar Tonelico and Ciel no Surge Crossover Game Announced

Gust and Koei Tecmo have announced that they will be taking two of Gust's previous series and bringing them together. The new game Ar no Surge will take place in the Ciel no Surge world, but a different location than the original game. The director of the Ar Tonelico series will be directing the game.

The world will be one of magic and power of thoughts, which song magic present. Sounding much like Ar Tonelico games, combat will have the character singing needing to be protected by guardians. It will include a defend system in combat.

The game is planned for the PS3 for January 30, 2014 in Japan. It is currently unknown if it will receive a Western release.
