Tattoos

Alright guys it has been awhile since I have gotten any ink, and I am planning on going and getting some work done. I need some ideas on what to get, post me some pictures. I am wanting to shy away from anything with a Japanese feel to it. As I already have a sleeve done that is all Japanese type things.

Also feel free to post pictures of any tattoos that you have.

I have a P on my foot/ankle. For my kiddo.

Apparently my skin doesn't take ink very well at all 'cuz my bf had to really dig the needle in and it hurt like a mofo.

I have a picture somewhere around here. I'm not taking a new one 'cuz my current situation is.... Splotchy. haha.

I plan on getting a Tonberry King somewhere.

I got the album cover of the Guns N Roses Appetite for Destruction album on my left arm. Only thing I have now, not sure if I want more or not.

Ive recently been leaning towards getting more pieces. As you know I got chest and top arm done.

I am thinking of getting this. It is from The Offsping's Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace album. I am quite a fan of them just not sure about it.

I have a Linkin Park tattoo on my shoulder. I would advise against getting any band/game/movie/pop-culture tattoo.

seriously though, what were you thinking?

Josh, for the love of God don't do those Japanese letters/sings, if you're not careful enough you'll end up with "chicken soup" on your arm =D

It was my first tattoo, I was young and impressionable and I was kind of pressured into getting it. I don't regret it, but if I had the chance to go back I would most definitely change it.
My other tattoo's were much more thought out I assure you haha

By Japanese tattoo I meant hanya mask, samurai, etc. These are some pics of my current tattoos. Not a huge fan of my samurai thought the guy did a shitty job. Not much I can really do about it.

Yeah I have a phoenix on my ribs that I really want touched up, but at the same time I really don't want to deal with the pain haha.

You should just get "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" tattooed across your stomach in the style of that Tupac "Thug Life" tattoo.

I only like small tattoos(I dnt really like tattoos at all to be completely honest) and in discrete places but not so many otherwise they just look like sad little five minute children's doodles. My ex bf insisted that I get a tattoo, only one I had contemplated getting for a while ie. the roman numeral " VII " on the back of my neck but it just wasnt a priority in the end. Though, Im reminded now because of this thread so I'll do it on my birthday with all my girlfriends there, wont take long

If I get another one, it'll probably be a Black Label society logo like

on my right arm. Go well with the BLS vest I wear all the time. If I get another one at all though, it'll be because I don't like the asymmetry of only having on one the left arm.

I still need to get my three Kirbys done on my right arm to match. I'm set on which three Kirbys, but now I have to decide on poses. I definitely follow the "love it for six months" rule - I've wanted to do the Kirbys for a couple of years now, so I just need to figure out which classic sprites to line up, and then stare at it for a while.

I've had some ideas for a couple of tattoos for a while, but I've not really decided on when or where the tattoos should be. I've been considering the triforce, rebel insignia/empire log (star wars), EGA, and miscellaneous other tattoos that I've probably forgotten about.

I want a PRK9 tattoo, because that's just how I roll.

I still haven't been inked, but I really want a tattoo. I'm lookin to loose a little weight first though, as I'm worried about distortion and stuff. I might still be okay, but I want to be healthy anyway.

I'm thinking my first tattoo to be the Legion symbol from Skyrim, or rather the logo if you haven't played. I'd like it on the back of my neck, but that's become the new tramp stamp here. =/ Either way, it's the first one I want.

I also want a Final Fantasy VII tattoo, but I've never really stuck with something I liked for very long. ;~;

My dad would shit a brick if I came home with a couple of youz people. He's so anti-tattoo. I'm surprised he didn't see mine and fly off the handle. I completely forgot it was there and wore a dress when we visited. Jay has a bunch, but they're all like Filipino tribal stuff and on his upper arms, chest, and back (I think there's some on his back. IDK. I never look there for some reason), so they're easily covered.

My sister got a tiny panda on her ankle with her friends 'cuz it's their college sorority's mascot.. My dad saw it and was like "What the hell is that on your ankle!?" ... She goes "...... The same thing -your- dad has on his arm!" oooooooh he nearly knocked her head off, but he didn't say -nothin'-.

I'm a fan of sleeves, but I generally dislike doing both sleeves.
There is a point where I think you can have too many tattoos.

Also, sleeves are hot, but they make me think of an ex's older brother who did a 9 year bid in prison for some reason.

In all seriousness though, I'm having a blast learning about the whole tattooing process and seeing how much work it actually is .... And being able to play with a tattoo gun.

I realize that I'm extremely lucky to have this opportunity to do all of this for free. My boyfriend has given me free reign of the machine and skins, he just said that Im not allowed to use his colors, I need to use his old ink, and as soon as I can nail down a straight line with good depth , he'll teach me how to do shading and highlights.
