Also, with the advent of the purse, I imagine girls normally don't use their pockets much anymore, do ya?

I don't even know what a nickel or a dime is, and we don't have pennies or quarters.

Nothing, because I'm sitting at a computer, and I always empty my pockets when I sit down. I hate sitting on my wallet and my keys, cos they dig into my ass. And I usually get my cellphone and iPod out to use them.

But if I were to pack up now, those four things would be in my pockets, everyday. Except for right now, because my wallet is missing

Anyway, I have my keys and my phone in my pocket almost always. I keep my coins in my wallet which is in my back pocket.

There's nothing in my pockets, well, pocket to be more precise, right now. On normal day when I go to uni or just to grab a cup of coffee my pockets are pretty much filled with stuff such as money, headphones, my mobile phone, ID, house keys, bus ticket... you see, I never got used to having a wallet with me, besides, on most occasions I have my trusty bag with me.

Nothing, as usual. Even when I go out, I never use my pockets. I hate using pockets...if I bring my wallet, I set it the glovebox or something til I get where I'm going and THEN slip it in my pocket. Then when I get back to the car, out it comes. I don't own a cell phone or mp3 player and I would rarely carry a phone around if I did own one.

I don't carry a lot of stuff in my pockets, because I'm always cautious that airport security will stop and search me, even if I'm not at an airport. I have to carry my wireless cellular telephone with me at all times for work, because apparently pagers have become irrelevant with the invention of the text message.

That's usually the extent of what I carry. I don't usually have money on me, because if I don't have money to spend, then I won't spend any. And if I have to carry my wallet on me, it goes in my front pocket, because it's much harder to steal from my front pocket then from my back pocket. I don't understand the logic of putting your wallet behind your back. Unless if your logic is to lose it to a thief.

and yeah, I wear my wallet in my front pocket. Maybe a side pocket in case of a jacket, since my hands are in there the whole time.

Generally the only thing I carry in my pants pocket is my phone. Everything else is either in my purse or my bag, depending on where I am.

At work I wear a lab coat and I do utilize those pockets extensively. Generally I have anywhere from 1 to 3 pens, index cards, loose change, coupons and at least one, usually two blades. For opening boxes. But hey, if I need to shank someone, I can do that too. Hasn't happened yet though. I sometimes have other miscellaneous stuff too like labels, clips, plastic tabs. Whatever. My lab coat is a bit of a catch-all.

Nothing, I always empty my pockets unless I need to be carrying something, in which case I keep a wallet, inhaler, and keys in my pockets. Soon as I'm in a car or at home or whatever, the pockets get emptied. I hate sitting on the crap in my pockets.

Nothing, as I'm wearing pyjamas, which funnily enough, do have pockets.

But no, I don't really use my pockets to be fair. Most stuff goes in my bag, and change goes straight into my wallet. I used to carry my train card in my back pocket, but it started slipping out for some reason (looser jeans, I'm guessing...), so I tend not to trust them, now.

While we're on the subject, why do pyjamas have pockets?

Without looking: I keep a hoard of papers in my pockets which I am constantly scribbling stuff on such as "The moon is up, strange it is..." I have my wallet, which I never keep coins in, that's just disgusting. I have two pairs of keys (just in case I lend one set to someone and I have to get in), I have a comb, a marker, a really wet pen (I love wet pens) my cell phone (stupid thing keeps going on-line without my say so) My flashlight, a pair of finger-nail clippers, a short-stubby pencil, a safety pin (which I use to gouge wood slivers from my person) and, on occasion, a screw driver, a butter knife, needle-nose pliers, a size twelve mm wrench and a partridge in a pear tree.

For the most part the only thing I keep in my pocket is my cellphone. However I do carry my wallet in my pocket but only whenever I go out. As for my keys, well I keep them around my neck because I'm afraid if I keep them in my pocket ill lose them somehow or they'll fall out lol

Usually it's just my wallet and phone. I don't really pay for anything in cash, so I usually don't have any change in my pockets. I also keep my keys on on industrial D-ring since I'm not really a fan of having them poke my leg in my pockets. Every now and then I'll bring my ipod with me, but it's usually just charging in my car, since that's pretty much the only time I listen to it.

As for right now, I'm not even wearing pants, so I have no pockets to speak of.

Going to be completely honest here... there was a thread like this a while ago, and Meier said something about women with stuffed pockets looked unattractive or something, and I did kind of agree after feeling self-conscious one day after shoving my phone, purse, keys, Oyster Card, iPod and etc in every pocket. Ever since, I've never had much use for my pockets lol.

So yeah. I very rarely put anything that's bulky in my pockets. If I'm at work, and I'm on a break, I'll put my purse in my pocket to save bringing my bag with me. Otherwise, I might have small change and my Oyster Card (bus pass) in my front pockets. If I'm not wearing a jacket, my iTouch fits snuggly in my back pocket without causing much of a disturbance to my curves.

Everything I consider bulky, I chuck into my drawstring bag. I have a small, grey handbag if I'm feeling classy, but it's too small for most of the things I WANT to take out with me... like my DS, or PSP or something. I should probably buy a girly bag, but I've never seen one I really like. Oh well. Drawstrings seem more practical anyway, and it's not like I take my DS to a fancy restaurant or something.

Yeah, that's WHY I put stuff in my pockets. To deter the swarms of (mostly) wistful wimps who, otherwise, can't seem to stop eyeing those 'curves' (poor helpless souls)
