Azithromycin

Medicine used for Bronchitis, Pneumonia, and STD's. Among other things.

I can positively say I'm not using this for STDs, but has anyone ever taken this before.
I found it a little odd that they would include on the box that only 1% of people quit using it because of side effects.
Well I can say that I want to be one of those 1%. The abdominal pain and nausea I've been getting for the past two days is almost unbearable. I don't want to puss out because it definitely has helped enormously with my bronchitis. Only three more days to go.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Should I talk to my doctor or just try to tough it out?

Talk to your Doctor. I had to take it for my bronchial problems and it had bad side affects on me too. Ended up having to switch over to a different perscription that was just as effective with out the negative affects. Down fall is it took a few days to work its way out of my system.

Good to know. Have to wait till Monday to talk to them, so I'm just gonna not take it tomorrow.

I took it a few times for sinus infections. It was fine. I actually prefer it, although some people say it doesn't work for them.

Now, keflex, or cephalexin was a goddamn nightmare. It pretty much turned my stomach inside out, and I was on the shitter within minutes of every meal.

If you've already started it, just stay the course. It's better to just knock it out as opposed to taking many different drugs which could have worse side effects
