I loved this one, but really only played through it once.

I saw on another thread that enemies lvl according to you? I didn't know that, is this the only ff game that does this?

Usually I fight most random battles to level up, do people usually avoid them in this one with the diablos ability?

Ff7 and 8 are my favorites, I liked 7s story the best but loved 8s graphics and character models and gun blades are legit

I did a playthrough last summer and I really enjoyed it. I grew up watching my brother play it and he never got past the Ragnarok on disc 3, so I made it my own little mission to beat the game before him lol. Have fun playing!

I watched all of the cut scenes the other day. I fell in love with it again, although, I still don't really understand the ending. I'll play it again and again though. It's my favourite FF out of all of them.

I love the music and the characters. The story unfolds in a peculiar way with many interesting things. I've lost count I all my replays now, but I played 8 at least 8 times

First thing I do on this game is get Diablos as soon as I can. Then I get Encounter None and play the rest of the game with it on almost full-time.

I actually like 8 a lot. I didn't think much of it my first playthrough, but it's since become one of my favorite FF games. I like it more than 7.

To be honest it take a lot of time, but here's what I did.

1. Go to the town the opposite direction of the cave and challenge the card queen and challenge her to a game of cards. You want to have the rule where if you win you get all of the other's cards. You can lose. You just need to play a game with that rule.

2. As soon as the lightning GF learns how to use card, go to the beach and card the fish. (an easy trick is the fact that they will survive an attack from shiva if you don't boost it, and then card them) just keep carding fish to get AP until you learn card mod.

3. Once you know card mod, go around an win a bunch of cards. Once you have some good cards, you can take on the president of the card club to get the cards you need. I think the number one card for me were Abyss Worms because you can get items that would turn into a magic the is like 4th best magic to junction for HP.

You can just YouTube "get Lionheart on disc 1" to find which cards and how many you need to get weapon supplies.*

*by the time I got parts for Lionheart minus an item you get later I had the supplies to make "the punisher" and improved gear for everyone.

Started another playthrough two weeks ago for my brother in the military. He never played past the Ragnarok so I'm getting him to the point so he can finish the game when he comes home for Christmas. I'm on disc 3 just about to encounter the White SeeDs
