The second Proudclad

Do you have some tips on defeating the second Proudclad boss in Eden? It just keeps whopping my party and I am getting really irritated.

This boss game me a hard time as well. First thing to know is that he really doesn't do anything all that different than the first battle. I have noticed that he will heal more frequently, so causing a break is that much more important. The easiest and longest suggestion I have is to just level the characters in the roles you need the most.

Party: Fang, Lightning, Hope

Paradigms:
1. SEN/COM/MED
2. SEN/MED/MED
3. COM/RAV/RAV
4. RAV/RAV/RAV
5. SAB/COM/SYN
6. COM/COM/COM

This boss gets frustrating as he will heal and remove debuffs constantly. Make sure to keep deprotect and deshell on him while having brave and faith on you. If you feel like you are not getting break fast enough, switch to 4 to boost it up fast. When you do break him, switch to 6 for heavy damage.

Well, I am using a party of Fang, Vanille and Hope. I managed to survive the longest with that party. Unfortunately I was too careless.

When he's on offense, heal your party as much as possible. Any attack he uses when he's in Annihilation mode will kill you if your health falls under 75%. Also heal as quickly as you can. I rarely attacked him when he was flying. Just keep casting Haste, Bravery and any other helpful buffs you can think of. I can't really remember who I used, but it took a good amount of tries to kill this guy.

When he switches to his other form, use RAV/RAV/COM to get his stagger up. When he is staggered, switch to all COM and beat the snot out of him (Or just COM/COM/RAV is fine). Rinse and repeat. Don't forget to watch your health. Set up your paradigms so you can switch quickly.

His stagger meter resets every time he switches modes and he regains health twice I think. Just be patient and you'll beat him.
